Company Profile
The Software Guild, which is owned and operated by online education technology solution provider The Learning House, Inc., is an accelerated, hands-on coding bootcamp where individuals learn to be junior software developers in 12 weeks for in-person bootcamps and in 10 months online.

To teach job-relevant skills quickly and effectively, The Software Guild models its practices after traditional apprenticeship programs, with a combination of lectures, labs and hands-on experience. Apprentices learn either .NET/C# or Java – two of the most in-demand programming languages today – and acquire the skills needed for junior-level developer positions. The apprenticeship also focuses on “soft skills” valued by employers, teaching apprentices how to conduct job interviews, work on teams, and network.

Apprentices at The Software Guild become members of a community. The Guild has 300+ companies in its Employer Network and master instructors with more than 10 years of industry experience. Through partnerships with the University of Georgia, Kent State University, Oregon State University, Baker University and Wichita State University, The Software Guild has graduated more than 400 students, and graduates have a high rate of success landing jobs in IT.

The Software Guild has locations in Akron, OH; Louisville, KY; Minneapolis, MN; and online.
